Offered is a Weiler Primus VC lead screw and draw spindle lathe, year of manufacture 2008, in very good condition. The control system, in combination with a precision center lathe from Weiler, performs the following functions: graphical display of travel paths and direction, graphical representation of the measuring system on the lathe, compensation of tool corrections, zero point adjustment to compensate for the workpiece position, radius/diameter switching, graphical display of the main spindle rotation direction, graphical display of the position of the machine's speed potentiometer. A very nice lathe with AC drive and stepless speed control of the working spindle. All slides move very smoothly and evenly. Even at high speeds, the Weiler runs quietly. This newer generation of Weiler lathes is very user-friendly and allows surfaces to be produced with a ground finish. The digital display from Weiler makes working even easier and more precise.
