This used SOMAB TRANSMAB 500 CNC lathe, built in 1995 in Moulins (France), is a horizontal CNC turning machine weighing 8,100 kg. It features a NUM CNC control with NUM Servomac drives, a 12-station tool turret fitted with Kennametal tool holders, a jaw chuck and a tailstock operated from the control panel. Installed power is 30 kW on 400 V three-phase, 50 Hz. The panel includes an electronic handwheel, spindle and feed override dials and manual or automatic coolant control.
Applications
This CNC lathe machines turned parts, one-off or in batches: turning, boring, facing and threading of metal parts. It suits general engineering workshops, industrial subcontractors, hydraulics, toolmaking and maintenance shops.
