Product Description

The horizontal metal band saw with a swivel arm allows cutting perpendicular to the axis of the workpiece as well as at any angle in the range 0°–60°.

The material can be fed manually or using any mechanical feeding device, while the cutting feed of the blade is fully automatic.

The blade guides are equipped with special carbide plates and bearings, which significantly improve blade guidance, durability, straightness, cutting accuracy, and overall cutting quality.

The rigid saw arm is made of profiled cast iron, ensuring high stability and vibration reduction during cutting. A control panel is mounted on the machine frame for easy operation.

The drive from the electric motor to the blade drive wheel is transmitted through a worm gear transmission. The cutting blade is tensioned on two cast-iron wheels using a manual tensioning system and guided in adjustable rolling and sliding carbide guides.

Inside the machine there is a separate coolant tank with an electric pump, which improves blade life and cutting performance.

The cutting speed (arm descent speed) is controlled by a hydraulic cylinder, while the feed rate is adjusted directly from the control panel. The machine offers two blade speeds: 36 and 72 m/min.

When the arm reaches its lowest position after cutting, the blade drive automatically stops.

Safety is ensured by:

micro-switches stopping the motor when the cutting cycle is completed or a guard is opened

an automatic shutdown system in case of blade breakage
