SAFAN E-Brake Press Brakes are a series of machines equipped with electric drives. Lenze servo motors, controlled by inverters from the same manufacturer, enable fast and reliable system performance over many operating hours. Additionally, the machine only consumes electrical energy during the downward stroke of the ram. The upward movement of the ram is achieved by the force of springs. During standby, the energy consumption is minimal, as there is no hydraulic pump motor maintaining pressure, unlike hydraulic press brakes. Power consumption is estimated to be up to 70% lower than with conventional hydraulic press brakes.
