The result of such a situation is downtime in the production process and losses for the company, and in some cases, a serious threat to human life. Therefore, in order to eliminate similar hazards, pneumatic and mechanical conveying devices should be monitored for the presence of sparks and properly protected by using spark detection and extinguishing systems.
