Columns and cylinders are made of SAE 1045 tool steel (identical to German standard C 45) and are induction hardened and chrome plated on the outside.
The linear measuring rod informs the control system of the position of the ram in each case. The travel distance, the upper stop point and the changeover point at which the press is to switch from idle to working speed, as well as the end position to be approached, can be entered easily and quickly via the monitor control.
The working speed can be set in 1 mm/sec increments from 0 to 10 sec and in 10 mm increments from 10 to 155 mm.
The control monitors the secured areas, all hydraulics and the pump.
The control system is housed in a separate control cabinet.
The actual press operation is carried out via a control panel mounted on a swivel arm, which reduces the distances involved.
