Design and technology

The CORMAK MM3146 features a solid industrial construction. The main motor with a power rating of 1.5/2.2 kW (S1/S6), combined with a reinforced feed drive (60 W), provides sufficient power reserves for intensive, long-term operation. The variable feed speed system (0–4 m/min) allows the operator to adjust the working speed according to the material type and required finishing quality.

The 2100 × 75 mm sanding belt drives a high-speed drum (2800 rpm), enabling fast and effective material removal. The sanding drum is self-cooling during operation, eliminating the risk of overheating the work surface. The side guide has been additionally reinforced, improving parallel alignment and sanding stability across the entire working width.

Precision and working efficiency

The CORMAK MM3146 drum sander guarantees repeatable results thanks to its mechanical height adjustment system with a precise scale. The minimum workpiece thickness is 3.5 mm, while the maximum is 100 mm, allowing machining of both thin panels and solid structural elements.

The working width of 460 mm in a single pass (or 920 mm with double guiding) provides production flexibility even for large batches of components.
