Design: The saw frame is a welded structure guided by two columns with preloaded linear bearings. The rigid saw frame minimizes vibrations and enables the machine to achieve maximum cutting performance. The vise, which clamps the workpiece, is designed as a casting. The vise jaw movement is controlled by a long-stroke hydraulic cylinder. A roller conveyor runs through the entire saw, supporting the workpiece along the full length of the cut. The saw is equipped as standard with hydraulic band tensioning, adjustable guides with carbide inserts, and top band guidance using a hardened ring on a needle bearing. An electrically driven brush ensures perfect cleaning of the saw blade. The drive is transmitted via a bevel-helical gearbox and a three-phase electric motor with stepless adjustment of the blade's peripheral speed using a frequency inverter. The cooling system delivers coolant directly to the blade guides. All machine movements are controlled by a hydraulic power unit, which includes control valves for adjusting the vise pressure. The saw arm uses limit switches to set the upper and lower positions during cutting.
