CORMAK IMET CUBO 400NC FLAT

The CUBO 400 NC model is a modern band saw that ensures operator safety thanks to a guard made of specially designed metal sheets, protecting all four sides and all moving parts of the machine. The guarding system allows full access to the machine and easy maintenance.

An innovative and user-friendly 7" touchscreen with an intuitive interface enables full control of all machine settings. It allows programming of up to 99 cutting programs and 10 different cutting lengths on the same bar.

The CNC control provides access to all machine operating functions: automatic calculation of blade thickness, number of stroke repetitions, band speed, and blade lowering speed. The interface also allows monitoring of the CUBO operating status and diagnosing irregularities thanks to a self-diagnostic function.

An integrated feeder enables automatic repetition of the cutting process. The feeder moves along a hardened and chrome-plated guide; high positioning accuracy is ensured by precise feeding via a ball screw with a self-braking motor, mounted on a floating plate to absorb loads caused by irregular bars.

The saw body has a rigid cast iron structure made of square-section tubes, ensuring high resistance to deformation and better performance with all types of materials. The bow is equipped with a worm screw and a crown gear made of a highly resistant bronze alloy.

A mechanical material detection device ensures rapid approach of the blade to the material by automatically detecting the first cutting point. The final cut is controlled by a microswitch on the blade guide, allowing perfect band alignment thanks to hardened metal pads and additional bearings.

Automatic IMET machines can be connected to a company network and operated remotely using the SAWFACTORY system and a modem. SAWFACTORY is dedicated software that enables management of the cutting process from the office by setting programs and monitoring operation via a web application. The software also allows remote technical support.
