Automatic press loading – double infeed unit + 5-axis manipulator

Complete automation solution for the automatic feeding, loading, unloading, and transfer of sheet metal parts in mechanical and hydraulic presses.

The installation consists of a QF-LJZ600 double infeed/stacking unit in combination with a QF-5045-S6-5 5-axis manipulator with a 5 kg load capacity.

This combination is ideally suited for automating existing presses and can be used for, among other things:
• Automatic loading of a mechanical or hydraulic press as an alternative to manual loading
• Automatic unloading of the pressed product
• Unmanned or operator-assisted production
• Transferring a product from one press to a subsequent press
• Pick & place applications
• Turning and repositioning products
• Stacking finished products
• Automating multiple consecutive pressing operations

Double infeed/stacking unit, type QF-LJZ600

Automatic double-station system for feeding individual sheet metal parts/blanks to the manipulator.

The dual-station design allows a new stack of material to be prepared while production continues from the other station, thereby minimizing downtime during material changes.

Application for unmanned press production
The installation can be integrated with an existing mechanical or hydraulic press.
The sheet metal parts are automatically fed from the stack. The 5-axis manipulator picks up the product, positions it in the press, and can automatically remove the product after the pressing operation.
Depending on the application, this can be used to create a fully automated or operator-assisted production cell.
A possible configuration is, for example:
Sheet stack → double infeed unit → manipulator → press → finished product
Transfer from press to press
Another interesting application is automating a production process with two or more existing presses.
The manipulator can remove a product after the first pressing operation and automatically position it in a second press.

The installation was newly purchased in 2022 but has not been used.
The installation is offered as a combination of an infeed/stacking unit and a 5-axis manipulator.
