The new DST 20-CA electric diamond wall saw from Hilti is extremely compact and easy to handle. As the world's first 32A electric high-frequency wall saw, it weighs approximately 60 percent less than conventional systems, has a maximum cutting depth of up to 73 cm with a 1600 mm blade, and comes with integrated electronics. The DST 20-CA diamond saw does not require an external power box, thus reducing the risk of cable breakage and simplifying the work process.

Hands and head free

The sawing process is optimized by an integrated CutAssist, which ensures a 15 percent higher cutting speed. The user only needs to set the necessary parameters, press the start button, and the Hilti DST 20-CA begins its work. This keeps the hands free, and the operator can perform other tasks in parallel – such as preparing the next work steps. This saves time and makes diamond sawing work much more efficient. The remote control with a 2400 MHz band and frequency hopping technology, and a range of approximately 20 meters, displays the cutting depth in real time on the display.

Quick assembly and setup

Thanks to the elimination of an additional power box, the low weight, and the improved ergonomics, the wall saw can be set up quickly. Long preparation and transport times are eliminated, so the user can quickly begin diamond sawing. Here, the vibration-optimized DST 20-CA wall saw impresses with its high performance. Compared to the DS-TS 20-E wall saw, it delivers 30 percent more power and 200 percent higher torque. Accordingly, the saw offers a wide range of applications: cutting openings and breakthroughs in concrete, demolishing walls and floors, separating and cutting artificial or natural stone, and even cutting heavily reinforced reinforced concrete can be easily accomplished with the new wall saw, even in hard-to-reach areas.
