The COLUMBUS Pioneer is a professional vacuum or membrane press designed for applications such as vacuum form laminating, veneering, coating, and laminating of flat or curved workpieces. Thanks to its modular design, the machine can be adapted to different requirements and is available in various sizes and versions.

Versions/Modular System:

The COLUMBUS Pioneer is built as a modular system and is available in the following versions: BASIC (classic vacuum pressing such as veneering, coating, and form laminating), HEAT (heating and thermoforming plastics and solid surfaces), and VERTICAL (processing taller workpieces and convenient loading/unloading with vertical opening). These modules can be combined or retrofitted as needed for different applications.

COLUMBUS machines are engineered for long-term industrial use and are manufactured with high-quality industrial components. COLUMBUS offers a lifetime warranty on the machine structure (excluding wear parts).

Every COLUMBUS Pioneer is part of the COLUMBUS 360° system. This includes the digital Master Manual with extensive practical knowledge of vacuum technology and Master GPT – an artificial intelligence for all queries regarding the machine, applications, materials, and optimal process parameters. The system supports users with setup, operation, and process optimization, and is supplied with a tablet for immediate use.
