The COLUMBUS Pioneer is a professional vacuum and membrane press for applications such as vacuum form-bonding, veneering, coating, and laminating of flat or curved workpieces. Thanks to its modular concept, the machine can be adapted to different requirements and is available in various sizes and configurations.

Designs/Modular Configuration:

The COLUMBUS Pioneer features a modular design and is available in BASIC (classic vacuum pressing such as veneering, coating, and form-bonding), HEAT (heating and thermoforming of plastics and solid surface materials), and VERTICAL (processing of taller workpieces and convenient loading/unloading via vertical opening) versions, which can be combined or retrofitted depending on requirements.

COLUMBUS machines are designed for long-term operation and are manufactured using high-quality industrial components. The robust construction, proven components from renowned manufacturers, and precision workmanship ensure high durability and reliable performance. COLUMBUS offers a lifetime warranty on the machine frame (excluding wearing parts).

Every COLUMBUS Pioneer is part of the COLUMBUS 360° System. This includes the digital Master Manual with extensive practical vacuum technology knowledge and Master GPT – an artificial intelligence for all questions regarding the machine, applications, materials, and optimal process parameters. The system assists users with setup, operation, and process optimization, and comes with a tablet for immediate use.
