StoMill 1000 – Our cost-effective root reducer for automated processing.

Our StoMill 1000 is a compact root reducer for the reliable processing of roundwood with diameters up to 1,200 mm and log lengths up to 20 m. In addition to the reducing operation, logs can also be debarked through manual repositioning; an optional automatic repositioning device is also available. The logs are fed using a forklift or crane. An 8-channel radio remote control is available for operation, enabling simple, automated control. This makes the StoMill 1000 particularly suitable for smaller to medium-sized woodworking operations.

The following questions are important to us:
What log lengths do you process?
Do you want to reposition the logs or perhaps also debark them with the reducer?
With what device (gripper, forklift, etc.) are the logs placed on the reducer?
Should the logs be automatically ejected after the reducing process?
How should the system be set up to achieve an optimal workflow?
How high should the system be?
Is a conveyor system for the removal of the bark advantageous?
Is an automatic log feed required for repositioning?
Should an automatic transfer of the log to another machine take place?
Based on these questions, we determine the optimal position of the reducing shaft, the length of the machine, and the necessary technical equipment. Our modular system allows for a precise adaptation of the root reducer to your specific application.
