Automated saw for quality sorting of boards – Edger-Crosscut Saw-Conveying Unit for Sawmill Timber Grading JRIMAC Twin-Cut
This installation is designed for sawing and optimal sorting to separate grades.
Edger (complies with current safety standards): Cutting length 6.0 m – Cutting height 120 mm – Maximum cutting width against stop 380 mm – Retractable saw blade cuts in both directions (forward and reverse) – Pressure bar with safety device – Positioning lasers – Adjustable cutting speed.
Crosscut Saw: Cutting unit at both ends – Unit 1 is fixed – Unit 2 can be positioned at 4,000 mm, 5,000 mm, and up to 6,000 mm.
Conveying Unit – The board is fed from the right to the edger by toothed wheels – The operator rips the boards longitudinally and marks the quality (X, O, //, etc.) – Offcuts are automatically discharged at the rear into a trolley – The edged timber is conveyed and crosscut automatically to the desired length – End trimmings are ejected into containers or bags – The timber continues on roller tracks to be picked up and stacked by a third party according to its grade.
Scissor Lift Table (not included in the machine price): Upstream, the timber is placed on a scissor lift table and brought to the height of the edger/operator.
400 Volts – 63A – 22 kW – 550 mm blade diameter – Control panel with programmable touch screen

Existing customer base: There is currently a steady clientele in French-speaking Switzerland for timber selected based on quality criteria – This external market is also available for sale.
