Intended Use
The automatic high-performance longitudinal circular saw KMS is designed for precise finish and joining cuts. It features a robust, durable construction and is engineered for continuous industrial operation in wood, plastic, or metal processing applications.

Machine Design
- Sturdy, welded heavy-duty steel construction.
- Motor protection switch with automatic star-delta start-up.
- Carriage guidance via precision-ground round steel rails and ball-bearing rollers; rails are mounted on easily replaceable supports.
- The entire carriage unit is positioned beneath the front machine table.

Sawing Unit
- Lowerable circular saw unit, electro-pneumatically lifted.
- Cutting height adjustment manually via a threaded spindle.
- Infinitely variable feed rate from 1–60 m/min, powered by a frequency-controlled motor.
- Return speed constant at 60 m/min, independent of feed rate.
- Cutting length adjustment for varying cut lengths via selector switch.

Machine Table
- Front machine table made from reinforced longitudinal beams, adjustable and mounted for stability.
- Table surface constructed from profiled steel sheets with recessed grip handles.
- Cantilevered width stop, seated and guided on three sides.
- Spindle drive with fine adjustment via handwheel, directly readable scale.
- Usable width: 400 mm (standard version).
- Electro-pneumatically controlled fence rail with automatic retraction for unobstructed drop of cut material.
Hfedpfx Aort H Ddeacof
- Rear machine table is narrow and can be swiveled downward electro-pneumatically for free fall during longitudinal cuts.

Saw Blade and Extraction
- Designed for saw blades Ø 400 mm, bore Ø 30 mm, mounting flange Ø 80 mm.
- Maximum cutting height: 70 mm.
- Integrated extraction duct, Ø 150 mm.

Double Circular Saw Unit “DUO”
- For pre- and post-cuts, consisting of two saw blades Ø 400 mm and two 11 kW (15 HP) motors each.
- Total cutting length: 3200 mm.
- Pressure beam with torsion-resistant construction and parallel guidance, stroke movement electro-pneumatically controlled.
- Integrated finger safety contact bar.
