Volumetric dosing machine COMAS model DN (reconditioned with new dosing unit)

Specialized machine for dosing “sponge cake” composition and creams onto cake layers:
a) Sponge cake onto mould trays with diameters of 240–260 mm and thicknesses of 7–12 mm, or onto rectangular trays with custom circumscribed dimensions.
b) Creams onto the layers from point a) in multiple layers (optional).

Machine configuration:
- Main structure made of stainless steel (S/S) with wheels and locking pivots.
- Dosing head with pneumatic operation, Waicon and/or Fesner brand.
- Height adjustment device for the dosing head, operated by handwheel.

- Product dosing volume adjustment device, operated by handwheel with markings.
- No. 1 height-adjustable work surface.
- No. 1 50-liter buffer tank for sponge cake composition storage.
- No. 1 interchangeable dosing cylinder, diameter 100 mm. Adjustable dosing volume from 78 to 1240 cm³.
- No. 1 terminal distributor for dosing into moulds with diameter 260 mm, equipped with perforated diaphragm for final closure.
- No. 1 limiting pedal for dosing actuation or line synchronization.
- No. 1 set of nozzles for sponge cake dosing.
- Optional cream decoration (see pictures/next page).
- No. 1 electrical installation and control panel.

Main technical features
- All parts in contact with the product are made of AISI 316 stainless steel or other decontaminable materials. Structure made of AISI 304 stainless steel and/or food-grade aluminium.
- Transmissions and gears made of chrome-plated steel. Bearings are stainless steel-coated with hermetic sealing.
- Pneumatic system: Waircom and/or Fesner brand.
- Compressor: excluded.
- Working cadence:
a) Manual, via pedal (estimated 5–15 cycles/min).
b) Automatic mode: 8–15 cycles per minute, adjustable.
