Amandus Kahl 38-780

The Amandus Kahl 38-780 pellet press was manufactured and purchased from the manufacturer in 2016 and is designed to produce 6mm diameter pellets from wood waste and other plant waste. Installed in a line for demonstration production of wood pellets. The granulator is supplied as a set of:
1. Amandus Kahl 38-780 pellet press with automatic granule density adjustment system

- Dismountable cast housing, equipped with cooling ribs in the gearbox area
- Dust cap and inlet cap with product distributor
- Main shaft with axial and radial bearing support
- Runner head with roller runners made of flame-hardened steel

- Auger transmission operating in an oil bath, auger wheel made of special bronze, hardened auger shaft
- V-belt fan pulley
- Oil pump for lubricating main bearings, with oil filter, pressure switch and thermometer

Central lubrication of runners for lubrication of runner bearings during press operation consisting of:
- Lubricant distributor, with a system of pipelines and couplings
- Hose with a central lubrication nipple
- Unit of grease lubrication pumps with a tank, motor pump, safety valves
- Control device and control unit

Hydraulic system of the granulator press for stepless change of the gap between the roller runners and the matrix, as well as for quick and easy release of the runner head

- Hydraulic unit consisting of:
- Hydraulic nut with corrosion-protected sealing surfaces, with sealing rings laid in grooves, flat hinge and spacer rings
- Hydraulic motor pump with electric control box for adjusting the hydraulic pump and hydraulic valves with an on-off button,
control voltage of the high-pressure hose, couplings and pressure limiting valves

2. Mixing auger M 315 For mixing and preparing raw materials consisting of:
- Pipe body with a service cover, including inlet and outlet openings
- Auger shaft with progressive suction and mixing blades
- End shields with rolling bearings and seals
- Device for spraying liquids using a double-sided nozzle
- Hinged joint for turning the auger from the press
- Overhead gearbox, power: 5.5 kW

3. Water dosing system in composition:
Water dosing system, type WD GLI 15 - capacity: 10-100 l/h at a back pressure of 36 bar
Consisting of:
- Dirt trap
- Magnetic shut-off valve
- Reducer made of cast tin-zinc bronze with a pressure gauge
- Flexible metal hose
- Inductive flow meter
