The core business activity of FSA is the manufacture of generator sets or industrial units based on 4-stroke, medium-speed diesel engines, as well as the production of components for these engines. The power range of the manufactured engines spans from 450 kW to 4.23 MW.

FSA's operations are based on:

- Several decades of experience and the industrial tradition of the Hipolit Cegielski factory in Poznań,
- Close engineering and technological cooperation with the MAN Diesel & Turbo licensor,
- Collaboration with customers—including shipyards, users of power plants and stationary power units, specialized companies producing engine components, as well as Poznań University of Technology and other higher technical institutions,
- The intellectual potential of its own engineering and management staff,
- A highly qualified workforce—specialists in mechanical processing, welding, assembly, and engine testing processes.
