I. System Concept of the New Painting Workshop Based on Drawing: 12-137-010a

System Description:

The system is designed for painting parts of IKEA garden furniture.

Dimensions of individual parts:
- Length: max. 3,500 mm
- Width: max. 100 mm
- Height: max. 2,200 mm

Part Hanging Arrangement:
- 2 chairs/1 table (220 per beam, stacked one above the other); paint application must be adjusted to prevent dripping onto the parts.

Traverse (Beam) Length:
- 4,000 mm

Number of Traverses:
- 228 pcs

Conveyor Speed:
- 5 m/min

Capacity:
- The system is designed to paint 300,000 pieces of garden chairs per year, calculated as follows:
- 7,200 single parts per 2 shifts (one chair consists of 6 single parts)
- 1,200 chairs per 2 shifts = 600 beams in 2 shifts
- 600 beams x 1.2 min = 720 min = 12 hours effective production > 16 hours (2 shifts) – calculated based on 6 production hours per shift

Paint System:

Hsdpfx Aboylhxqo Aoi
- Intended for use with low-solvent (VOC-compliant), water-based paint materials from the respective manufacturer; non-combustible and non-reactive with other paint substances.

- Coating process includes one cycle for both flow-coating and top-coating.
