Mathis THN 10988 Laboratory Thermosoling System
Application:
This combination of padding and drying unit has proven to be highly effective in practice.
It is used in this form for a variety of hot air treatment processes, such as drying, fixing, condensing, thermosoling, etc.
The system is used wherever a specific sample size is required, for example, for the production of sample collections or similar applications.

Drying Unit THN
If all of the aforementioned applications are to be guaranteed, and the use of needle frames is also desired during individual operation of the drying unit, the THN model is preferred.
The standard needle frames are suitable for a sample size of max. 50 x 50 cm (larger needle frames are available upon request).

Length-adjustable frames for fabrics or length and width-adjustable material holders for knitted fabrics, meshes, non-woven fabrics, etc., as well as clamping frames for foils and paper, are available.

Drying Chamber

The drying chamber with electrical distribution box and control panel is mounted and screwed onto a base frame.
A double-walled construction with insulation in between ensures good thermal insulation of the drying unit.
The 1300 mm long nozzle arrangement is divided into an upper and a lower nozzle chamber. A control flap allows the ventilation to be evenly regulated from above and below, or the air flow to be regulated from above or below.

Fan and Heater

A powerful fan with a capacity of approximately 900–3500 m³/h, in combination with an optimally matched heating output, ensures intensive air circulation and thus optimal evaporation performance. A double-protected monitoring system reduces maintenance effort and increases the operational safety of the drying unit.

The heating output is designed for rapid heating and is automatically reduced after the desired temperature is reached, in order to avoid unnecessary power surges.
The temperature is electronically controlled in the range of 20–250 °C.

Fresh air is directed directly into the circulating air fan via a fan. The desired air flow can be adjusted via a step switch.
