The Magirus-Deutz Uranus was a truck model manufactured by the German commercial vehicle producer Magirus-Deutz in Ulm. With 250 HP from an air-cooled V12 engine made by Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz, the Uranus was the most powerful truck produced in Germany at the time. This heavy, three-axle vehicle was introduced in 1954 as the A12000 Uranus and served as a chassis for fire brigade and military crane trucks as well as heavy-duty tractors. Other versions included articulated tractors and dump trucks, mainly for export.

This particular vehicle is a beautifully preserved collector’s item with an interior that is in outstanding original condition, which can of course be attributed to its very low mileage. Included with the vehicle are the original spare parts list, original description, and operating manual. The vehicle underwent restoration at a cost of approximately €150,000!
