Machine Description
This patented aligner trimming cell is designed for the fully automated, high-precision trimming of orthodontic aligners made from polyurethane and other dental elastomers.
The system combines laser-based cutting technology with a 6-axis industrial robot, enabling unit-of-one production with infinite geometric versatility at industrial throughput rates.
Each aligner is processed individually based on patient-specific 3D data. Automated 3D path planning ensures precise, repeatable trimming of complex and delicate contours without mechanical contact.
