Heidelberg SM 74-1

The Heidelberg SM 74-1 is a single-color sheetfed offset press, built in 2000 and currently operational in a printshop in Germany. With a generous 520 x 740 mm format and 29 million impressions, this machine is well-suited for a wide range of commercial and packaging printing tasks.

Equipped with the Alcolor automatic film dampening system, the SM 74-1 ensures consistent ink-water balance for superior print quality. The semi-automatic Autoplate plate change system facilitates quick job turnarounds, while the Cptronic control system and chromed cylinders deliver precision and longevity. Maintenance is streamlined thanks to integrated blanket and ink-roller wash-up devices, both managed from the console.
