The MS+PS coolant separator by GRAFS is a device that combines the functions of both a magnetic separator and a nonwoven fabric separator. This combination allows for an exceptionally high level of coolant purification, which is crucial in machining processes.
The MS+PS separator is an ideal solution for machines requiring extremely clean coolant, where contaminants include both magnetic and non-magnetic particles. By integrating magnetic filtration technology with nonwoven fabric filtration, this device ensures top-quality cleaning with minimal energy consumption.

OPERATION OF THE DEVICE:
1. Initial Stage (Magnetic Separator MS):
Initially, coolant containing metal chips and other magnetic contaminants passes through the MS magnetic separator.
This separator is equipped with a rotating magnetic drum that attracts and retains magnetic contaminants on its surface.
The coolant, cleansed of metal particles, flows forward, while the contaminants are removed from the drum surface by a special scraper.
2. Main Stage (Nonwoven Fabric Separator PS):
The coolant then flows through the PS nonwoven fabric separator, where it is filtered through a specialized fabric.
This fabric captures fine particles, such as grinding dust or other impurities. An additional filtration layer forms on the fabric, enhancing filtration efficiency.
When the level of accumulated contaminants reaches the maximum allowable level, a float switch activates the fabric movement, winding the used material onto a reel and replacing it with a new, clean section of fabric.
The process operates automatically.
