The latest C-arm version introduced to the market in January 2019 (our unit manufactured in 2022).
The system is designed to have a working performance similar to an angiography unit or a stationary hemodynamics unit; therefore, it will not be affected by the high temperature of the X-ray unit or other components. The C-arm movement is both motorized and manual.
Isocentric active anti-collision system geometry on the FPD and X-ray side.
Compact and stable with a perfectly balanced C-arm, which is safe for all movements. Excellent maneuverability thanks to two large anti-static steering wheels. Latest generation start & stop system with excellent ergonomics and easily recognizable (color-coded) steering wheels.
Durable cable connections between the C-arm and the trolley, resistant to mechanical damage, special paint for quick cleaning and disinfection.

Alien X uses the latest generation of X-ray tubes with a titanium, zirconium, and molybdenum (TZM) plate. The advantages compared to using pure molybdenum plates are: better resistance to deformation, higher recrystallization temperature, and higher thermal resistance.

WAD + EHC
WAD (Water Aided Dissipation): X-ray tube cooling system; through the combination of dielectric oil management within the radiology complex, coolant, and an advanced heat exchanger, there are no fans in the sterile field. EHC (Eurocolumbus Heat Control): real-time control of the heat generated with immediate actions to change frames/s and/or pulses and/or imaging and radiological parameters to ensure optimal system operation and avoid overheating.
Manual with motorized drive – HYBRID
The Alien X C-arm movement can be done both manually and with a motor; manual movement is easy, and the system can be operated simply and ergonomically thanks to dedicated handles. Hybrid movement allows the combined use of both movements. Motorized horizontal movement is also available as an option. This option is mandatory if the EIC package is required.
