Equipped with SafeSkin for enhanced safety and higher efficiency. The CRAS Series is the upgraded version of the CRA Series, offering the same functions and performance as the CRA Series but further improved with SafeSkin technology for pre-collision detection, delivering increased safety and more efficient collaboration.
Collaborative Robot
Building on the safety, efficiency, flexibility, and user-friendliness of the CRAS Series, the CR16AS breaks the payload barrier with a capacity of 16 kg, opening up broader application possibilities for collaborative robots. With a working radius of 1000 mm, the CR16AS meets the demands of heavy-duty picking, packaging, palletizing, and welding in the automotive, household appliances, logistics, and metalworking industries.
User-Friendly Design for Faster Implementation
The CR16AS features the industry’s first dual-channel end-effector design, allowing direct connection to multiple end tools. It is also equipped with a visual status indicator on the base for intuitive operation state monitoring.

The CR16AS offers a working radius of 1000 mm and a maximum payload of 16 kg. Its advanced motion control algorithms ensure greater stability and reduce residual vibrations by 50% during rapid emergency stops.
24 Interface Ports for Greater Flexibility
The CR16AS supports Profinet and Ethernet/IP communication protocols and can be seamlessly connected with PLCs. It features 24 digital I/O ports with industry-leading support for both PNP and NPN circuit types, enabling easy expansion of applications.
High Protection Level for Safe Collaboration
Both the robot housing and control unit achieve the high protection rating of IP54. In case of overload, the robot automatically triggers an alarm. The CR16AS is also equipped with an innovative electromagnetic brake protection, which reduces the drop height of the end tool during power failure.
