AMIS ARS 1200

The AMIS twin-shaft shredder is equipped with a CNC-manufactured, heavy-duty grinding chamber that is fully bolted for easy maintenance. Both the machine housing and the bearings are protected by wear rings and plates. The geared motors drive the two hexagonal working shafts, which can be fitted with various interchangeable cutting discs. The two working shafts are mounted in large-sized SKF spherical roller bearings with lifetime lubrication. Optionally, an automatic, battery-powered continuous lubrication system for the main bearings can be installed.

Special features
The change of wear plates and scrapers does not require disassembly of the machine housing.
Thanks to the horizontally split bearing plates, the rotors including the bearings can be inserted or removed from above in a very short time. This allows for quick and easy rotor changes with different cutting tools.
The size of the grinding chamber can be modified with relatively little effort due to the bolted housing design. Motor configuration, gearbox size, installation position, and rotor speed can all be adjusted as required.

Electrical control
The machine is operated via a modern Siemens S 7/1200 controller featuring an advanced 7-inch touchscreen display.
Both geared motors are controlled depending on load, and feature a reversing operation.
Three different control programs are available depending on the material and application.
