Sachsenwald Energy

We generate electricity and heat by utilizing renewable raw materials: wood chips sourced from the local region. Five state-of-the-art Spanner Re² wood gasifiers combust dried wood chips at approximately 1000°C, converting the wood into wood gas. This gas then powers five small CHP units (GM 8-cylinder wood gas engines), producing about 225 kW/h of electricity, the majority of which is fed into the grid. The generated heat supplies a heating network and the dryer, which in turn dries the wood chips for the gasifiers. We are offering these systems for sale with 18-year EEG feed-in contracts.
