What does VOC mean / What does the device do?
VOC = Volatile Organic Compounds
The device measures and tests the outgassing (emissions) of materials under defined conditions.
It analyses which substances are released into the air by a given material. Typical applications include:
- Emission testing of plastics, components, materials
- Automotive interior material testing (odor / pollutants)
- Building products & furniture emission measurement
- Packaging, textiles, adhesives, paints
- Quality control and standard testing (e.g. ISO / VDA / DIN)

The test system generates precisely defined temperature, humidity, and air conditions.
Emissions are extracted from the test space using a carrier gas (e.g. nitrogen or air)
and can subsequently be analyzed using appropriate measuring equipment.
