The demineralization plant was used to treat raw water in basically four technological steps:
- Water pretreatment - preheating, clarification and filtration,
- Water demineralisation is a chemical treatment in which all minerals, i.e. dissolved salts,
are removed from raw (river) water. The resulting treated water is then virtually
chemically pure H2O, containing only dissolved gases - oxygen, nitrogen and noble
gases (carbon dioxide is removed),
- Water softening stations for water treatment hot water circuits

- Thermal degassing of water
The demi-station technology also includes auxiliary equipment for chemical storage (storage tanks,
bottling equipment ...), waste water removal (sumps, tanks ...), media transport (pumps, pipelines,
storage and dilution tanks ...).
