2.1 Intended Use
The RFID read/write device RFU630-041xx is an intelligent 4Dpro sensor of the RFU6xx (UHF) product family. Version (working range): Long Range.
This stationary unit automatically identifies radio-based data carriers (transponders) on moving or stationary objects. The device also supports tag management.
The compact read/write device processes data from up to four external antennas from all standard passive transponders according to ISO/TEC 18000-6C and EPCglobal UHFC1G2 in the region-specific UHF carrier frequency range. The device does not include an integrated (internal) antenna.
Intelligent process logic enables operation either as a stand-alone solution or grouped in network mode. The device transmits the reading results via its host interface to an upstream computer for further data processing.
Via its host interface, the device receives commands for tag management (write, read, etc.).
