Our SAPI "Mammut" pressure blasting unit with a 60-liter tank capacity is suitable for all common blasting media. The blasting pressure can be continuously adjusted from 0.1 to 12 bar using the permanently installed pressure regulator. A water separator is also permanently installed on the blasting unit; this separates moisture from the compressed air and prevents the blasting media from clumping due to excessive moisture.

Our safety shut-off device is included for safe operation of the sandblaster. This starts and stops the blasting process by operating the hand lever mounted on the blasting hose.

ADVANTAGES OF THE SAPI PRESSURE BLASTING UNIT with safety shut-off

Fast shut-off and start-up times, while complying with the regulations of the professional associations (VBG 48)
Pressure setting Can be precisely adjusted before the actual blasting process, continuously adjustable from 0.1 to 12.0 bar.
Reduced abrasive consumption, as the pressure vessel remains permanently pressurized, thus eliminating unnecessary abrasive run-on.
Upon restart, the full blasting pressure is immediately available at the nozzle and does not need to be slowly built up. This significantly reduces abrasive consumption and significantly reduces wear on the blasting hose.
No moisture (condensate) builds up in the vessel, as the vessel remains constantly pressurized and is not vented and vented with every start and stop. This process also offers other advantages, such as:
Optimal abrasive dosing with a hardened fine dosing valve
Lower compressed air consumption, thus significantly reducing fuel consumption (diesel)
One-person operation, as the blasting pressure is constantly displayed by the vessel pressure and can be easily adjusted on the pressure gauge without prior start-up.
No failure-prone components such as control valves, diaphragms, or seals, making it easy to maintain and reliable. Only the blasting hose needs to be checked in the safety shutoff and replaced if necessary.
