Knecht AS-500

For sale is a fully automatic carton erector, Knecht AS-500, manufactured in 2013, with two carton magazines and a hot-melt bottom sealing system. The system is sold complete, including the control unit.

The system was used in a packaging line for car rims. It removes the carton blanks from the magazines using vacuum suction cups, erects them, and seals the bottom with four hot-melt beads per inner flap. If one magazine is empty, the system automatically switches to the second magazine.

Equipment and technical data according to the order documentation:
- Two pallet magazines with motorized lifting mechanisms and erecting frames
- Loading of the magazines with pallets using a hand pallet truck
- Processing of cartons according to FEFCO 0201
- Hot-melt system from UES with a four-module application head
- Length and position of the glue beads adjustable via the control panel
- Carton transport with servo motors
- Vacuum pump from Schmalz

The used system has been regularly maintained and is in very good condition. It is being sold due to a business closure and was in operation until it was dismantled. In its dismantled state, a functional test is no longer possible.

An inspection at the location in 36381 Schlüchtern is possible by arrangement. The system can be loaded onto a truck on site. A video of the packaging line and detailed system documentation are available upon request.
