Robotic tray handling for deep-drawing systems – automated up to 120 cycles/hour

JAC Automation & Robotics offers an automated handling solution for plastic trays that can be integrated into existing or new production facilities.
The system takes over the automated handling of trays between the individual process steps, thereby significantly reducing the manual effort in production.
The images shown are from an existing reference system that is currently in production. The system offered will be newly designed and built specifically for your application.

Depending on the product, different handling concepts can be implemented with clamping or suction grippers. The system can be flexibly adjusted to different tray variants via a recipe and parameter management system.

Performance data:
• Tray sizes: approx. 400 x 300 mm to 800 x 600 mm
• Performance: up to approx. 120 cycles per hour
• different tray heights and product variants possible
• automatic product changeover via recipe management
• manual and automatic system operation
• individual adaptation to existing production facilities

The specified performance applies without pad printing and depends on the product, gripper concept, travel paths, and system layout.

The existing reference system combines robotic handling, conveyor technology, stamping, pad printing, and a separate deburring station, among other things.

Different products and recipes can be managed via the central Siemens HMI. Product-dependent parameters and position corrections can be set directly via the user interface.
