This listing is for the This listing is for the Epindorf New Brunswick I/O Module
The unit is in full working condition and is ready for immediate release
The Eppendorf New Brunswick I/O Module is an analog input/output interface module designed to work with Eppendorf’s New Brunswick and bioprocess control systems. It provides a way to connect external sensors, actuators, and control devices to your laboratory process equipment to acquire analog signals and control external hardware.
Analog Inputs & Outputs: The module accepts analog signals from external devices (such as sensors measuring temperature, flow, pH, etc.) and can output analog control signals to external actuators (like pumps or valves). Typical signal formats it supports include 0–5 V and 4–20 mA ranges, which are industry standards for process instrumentation
OPC Server Interface: It can interface with OPC-compatible software such as Eppendorf’s BioCommand® SCADA for real-time monitoring and advanced control. OPC (OLE for Process Control) is a standard communication protocol that lets control software talk to instrumentation hardware.
Process Integration: By connecting to process control systems, it helps in monitoring and controlling bioprocess parameters during fermentation, cell culture, or other controlled experiments
How It’s Used
Laboratory and bioprocess engineers use this module to:
Integrate external sensors and actuators with New Brunswick or BioFlo systems.
Capture analog data (such as voltage or current tied to physical parameters).
Provide control signals to devices like external pumps or valves based on process logic.
Link equipment to process automation software for data logging or control strategies. Eppendorf
Typical Features
Although detailed manufacturer technical specs are limited in published catalogs, typical features include:
Configurable input/output ranges (e.g., 0–5 V and 4–20 mA). Eppendorf
Hfedpfxsxwc Hls Ad Tsb
Compatibility with OPC communication standards for integration with software like BioCommand. Eppendorf
Robust lab design to handle use in controlled environments. QuestPair
