Biofilter System for Odor Reduction – bioteg MCBF 3000 QSW
For sale is a bioteg MCBF 3000 QSW biofilter system designed for exhaust air purification and odor reduction, suitable for an airflow rate of up to 3,000 m³/h. The system was decommissioned due to regulatory requirements, is technically complete, and was engineered for fully automatic, continuous outdoor operation.
The installation comprises a double-walled biofilter container (outer shell made of steel, inner lining PE-HD), a pre-connected air humidifier (cross-flow scrubber), a radial fan with frequency converter, as well as a separate technical compartment with control cabinet. The filter bed is filled with approximately 30 m³ of durable, longitudinally-shredded root wood, offering high shape stability and low compaction.
The biofilter system complies with VDI guideline 3477 and ATV leaflet 204 and achieves high purification performance (including up to 97% odor reduction, 98% H₂S, and 97% NH₃ at design conditions). Maintenance requirements are low (regular visual inspections, annual servicing).
