The new, larger freeformer 300-3X processes three components in ARBURG's freeforming process (AKF) and enables – for the first time worldwide –
the industrial additive manufacturing of complex functional components in a durable hard-soft composite with a support structure.
The designation "300" refers to the available component carrier area in square centimeters.
Compared to the freeformer 200-3X, the build space now offers 50 percent more space for parts with dimensions of up to 234 x 134 x 230 millimeters.

"3X" always refers to the three axes of the component carrier that can move in the x, y, and z directions.
